Hey there readers,
Hope all is good. Here’s the next instalment of my infamous newsletter (infamous now, and maybe one day it will be world famous - I can but hope).
Disclaimer:
This is not perfect, and there will be typos and parts that are not neatly glued together. But the point is more to build up my newsletter count and have a bit of fun. You can point out my mistakes, and I will ignore you and make more of them.
You’re welcome!!
So, what’s on my mind? Keep reading….
In life, I believe you should ask questions, limit your excuses, keep healthy and explore the world where possible.

Thinking
It’s time for another holiday. Whether you believe in a super being or not, somebody made it possible for the creation of aviation through mankind and the evolution of engineering. This has enabled us to travel far and wide to distant lands. I also believe it took the amount of time it did for us to travel to give those continents/countries around the world the time to develop their own cultures/land and be able to offer something special to the rest of the world that would like to visit. While air travel is not always the cheapest, you can get some good deals to distant lands. What are you waiting for? Start saving and then maybe you can jet away to somewhere special.

Tube/Rail Strikes
I’m sure by now, my views on public services strikes are not win the side of the workers who take such action. I mean, while I appreciate you want fairness and equality, most people just want to go to work or see family and friends. If the current job doesn’t meet your expectation and you are not happy, then find a job that will. That was the job that you were happy to work for, and now all of a sudden you woke up in the night and decided to join forces with your co-workers and irritate ones that have no choice but to use the services you are suppose to provide.
News just in…..by the time you read this, the strike will have been called off.
Watching
PEOPLE
I was today years old when I realised that the old expression, “it takes all sorts to make the world”, will never get old. Living in London, you tend to believe you will always encounter randomness. But I have to say, this day rendered me speechless. I mean, who are these people? What do they represent? They peacefully got onto the train, gestured their arms out in a caring way, but spoke nothing. A child politely asked of one a question, and the response was a gestured silence. Harmless, and at the same time instilling curiosity amongst the travellers.
Listening
Listening to music has always been part of my DNA, and generally I steer more in the urban space. Having said that, I will open that boundary to almost any other genre just to inspire in the experimentation of my own productions.
Various Artists
It’s another post where I have been listening to many types of music and partially studying them for my streaming project (that I talk about later, in the creative section)
Events
Hyper Japan
Have you ever been somewhere and you fully believe you don’t belong? Yeah, me too. As some will know, I like to try new things, especially if it is to do with technology, food or a holiday destination. Ok Ok, the list goers on and on and on.
Anyway, picture this:- Booked to go to a Hyper Japan event, which was understood to be a food festival. Imagine the confusion when walking to the event and seeing random females dotted around in CosPlay outfits. Not having been to an event at Olympia, it was still the thought that it was a separate event held at the same venue.
According to Wikipedia
HYPER JAPAN is the largest exhibition celebrating Japanese culture to be held in the UK. Centred on Japanese cuisine and popular culture such as gaming, manga, anime and music, the event introduces a wide range of Japanese culture, encompassing technology, fashion, traditional crafts.
How wrong that was. It turns out, Hyper Japan this year was less on the cuisine side and more of everything else mentioned. Oh, let’s not forget that there was an opportunity to purr-chase a bottle of Sake. And for those that wondered how come the image above contains a selection of some dishes, that was a restaurant elsewhere. Couldn’t go home on an empty stomach after so much HYPE!!!
A Mid Year Catch-Up
The UK as most would know is very unpredictable when it comes to the weather, so to guess exactly what temperature you are going to get in the middle of July is anyone’s guess. The plan was that it would be nothing like December. Hmmmmm! How wrong that was. By 11pm, it felt like December had crept up like a thief in the night and gave a big hug. Brrrrrrrr. Anyway, in order to not turn into an icicle, they best idea was to go V.I.P in a newly opened bar. One person knocking back almost 3/4 of a bottle of Ciroc was not the best idea, but it was eventually my idea. If only I had taken the advice from Post No. 8. Hangover Sunday came back with a vengeance after many years of hibernation.
Creative Zone
Creativity is the core of my existence, It’s a creative rollercoaster of producing either music tracks, mixtapes, 3d scenes, or digital garments. Sometimes you have to take time out, engulf yourself in new techniques and ideas and then go again. Watch this space….periodically new stuff will be here.
Twitch Journey
The journey has now started to look into streaming on Twitch. You can follow the journey, step by step at this D4 Twitch blog page. Initially this is observing and information gathering, before plunging into streaming. However, it’s appearing to be a lot to consume and get sorted. One thing is for sure, it’s going to happen!!!
Advice
Taking you back to that start of this post (you could read the whole post again and meet me back here), about my quote. I know you’ve heard the expression that curiosity killed the cat, but it’s not going to kill us humans. To expand on what I mean, asking questions, learning and continuously developing is how to become a better version of ourselves. It’s not always easy, of course not. It probably wasn’t designed for life to be that way. You put in what you want to get out of it at least. It might sound a bit fluffy, and some may feel they put in quite a lot and received nothing in return. However, spending a lot of time working out the winning lottery numbers will not get you the prize money unfortunately. What I’m talking about is not always looking at the world like it owes you anything. Not always thinking that you are just unlucky. Think positive for a start. Think about what you want, think about the obstacles in your way, and try and work out how you can jump over each obstacles (individually if possible) to achieve success. Sometimes looking at too many things can cloud your mind, where breaking it down into manageable chunks can be a better way. And don’t be too proud to ask for help.
Till the next time
And that is it, the end of this post. Hopefully this is enough to encourage you to return for more. Each post will be different, and include different elements of my thoughts depending on what has happened in the day-to-day life from the last post.
Remember, if you found this useful/entertaining just drop a like. If you have any suggestions for future post elements, just drop me a line. I have enabled the chat functionality, so you are able to communicate through that channel. Thanks.
Stay safe and I’ll catch you in the next post.
